What the case converter does

This free case converter changes the capitalization of your text without touching the words. Paste a heading that came in as ALL CAPS, fix a sentence that needs proper title case, or reshape a phrase into a code-style name. It runs in your browser, so there is no upload and no waiting.

Every case style in one place

You get seven conversions from one box. Uppercase and lowercase are the obvious two. Title case capitalizes the important words and keeps short words like and, of and the in lowercase, the way headline style expects. Sentence case capitalizes the first letter of each sentence, which is handy for cleaning up text that arrived shouting in caps. camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case turn a plain phrase into the naming styles used for variables, database fields and URL slugs.

How to convert case online

Type or paste your text on the left, click the style you want, and the converted text appears on the right straight away. Copy it with one button, or click another style to try a different format on the same text.

Frequently asked questions

Does the case converter work on long paragraphs and lists?

Yes. It processes everything in the box at once, including line breaks, so a full paragraph or a long list of items converts in a single click.

Why does title case leave some words lowercase?

Standard title case keeps short joining words such as a, an, and, the, of and to in lowercase unless they start the line. That matches the rules most style guides and publications follow.

Is my text sent to a server?

No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste is uploaded, saved or logged.
